Omicron - new guidance for self isolation

Hi all,

as you may have seen the government has moved to plan B in its efforts to curtail the spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19.

There are some changes which we need to be aware of.

1. if you come into close contact with someone with Covid-19, and you are not vaccinated, you must self isolate for 10 days

2. if you come into close contact with someone with Covid-19, and you are fully vaccinated, you need not self isolate but you must test using LFD for 7 days

Please can I remind you to test before you come back to us in January, and it  goes without saying that if you have symptoms and have not tested you should not come to class.

If you take an LFD and it is negative but you still have symptoms you should take a PCR test to confirm you do not have Covid-19. We advise that you stay at home till the PCR test result confirms your result.

Many thanks,

Nick Fenn
